Christian Abusaid was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and has worked on almost every craft linked to the esthetic and the arts. Being a big fan of popular Colombian art and of artists that range from Ed Ruscha to Adolfo Bernal, Abusaid´s work has been influenced by great masters as well as social expressions like graffiti and vandalism.
His work is characterized by rescuing popular knowledge and traditional conceptions in the realm of interpersonal and man-nature relations that the artist, through contemporary tools translates to the actual viewer. His constant search of diverse art techniques allow a diverse production that is valuable for its thematic as well as for its high esthetic level and its impeccable technique.
