Dulce Martin was born in Mexico City and has always had a passion for traveling, which is reflected in her photos. She is the youngest of four children and used art as a medium through which she could express herself and make her voice heard. She is an extremely passionate human being. The array of her interests are never-ending, just like her constant desire to ask questions, Le Petit Prince style. She finds herself intrigued by the deepest of thoughts and the most mundane everyday occurrences. Books, architecture, calligraphy, food, music, traveling, good conversation and bad jokes are some of the things that make her tick. When she was merely 3 years old she announced to her parents that she was going to travel the globe. She meant ALL of it.
When she is working, she is often found on the road managing tours for some of the most famous bands in the world. When she has time off, she doesn’t waste it at home but grabs her camera and goes. She has currently visited 127 countries (probably a few more by the time you are reading this) documenting her journey with photographs every step of the way. FWB’s April 2019 show is Dulce’s first public exhibition.
